Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor are set to begin a world promotion tour ahead of their historic fight in Las Vegas on August 26.

At the end of their publicity trip, the UFC fighter and his 40-year-old boxing champion will have six weeks to prepare for the £500million showdown.
Their four-day long tour kicks off in Los Angeles and will include Toronto and New York, finally ending at Wembley Stadium in London next Friday.

The fight has divided opinion, even though it will likely be watched by anyone with even a passing interest in either boxing or mixed martial arts, but it will not be the only draw on the night.
As part of the deal to arrange the fight, the event’s undercard will be arranged by Mayweather Promotions and every fight on the undercard will adhere to the Queensbury rules.
At the time of writing, no undercard fights have been confirmed, though speculation is mounting as to who could feature. Which candidates are realistic, which are unlikely?

The Swedish WBC super middleweight title holder has already played his part in one of the fights of the year after his tightly-contested draw with James DeGale in January.
As the biggest name in the Mayweather Promotions stable, it would certainly make sense for Jack’s name to be on the poster for the company’s biggest-ever promotion.
These are no ordinary press conferences. Fans can attend for free but had to apply for tickets online, with organisers claiming almost 30,000 were given away for the LA and New York events alone.
Tickets for Wednesday’s LA press conference are all gone and some are now being resold online for up to $US100 each.
The New York event is also sold out while organisers had to switch venues in Toronto from the 3000-capacity Sony Centre to the 16000-capacity Budweister Stage. The London event is tipped to fill the 12,500-seat SSE Wembley Arena.
The question is, now he has seemingly moved up to light heavyweight, who would he fight? Nathan Cleverly, the Welshman who currently holds a version of the WBA’s title in the 175lbs category.

Although the odds are against McGregor for the fight, the trash talk is forever in his favour with the fighter famous for his charisma and banter.
